Interviews today....

Hello everyone,

On the show today we heard from a band called 'The Soldiers'. The band is made up of 3 actual serving army soldiers called Gary, Richie and Ryan. They said they found being in a band great fun and a great experience despite a bit of ribbing from colleagues! They have a single and an album out on Monday next week - both are called 'Coming Home'. Money raised from these releases will go to the Army Benevolent Fund, Help For Heroes and the Royal British Legion.

Also on the show we heard from Roger Page from the St Albans Diving Club. The club has been going since 1976 and is for those aged 8 years and older. The club has been based at Westminster Lodge for many years but will be based out of Hemel Hempstead once Westminster Lodge is replaced by a new leisure centre. This is because the new leisure centre won't have any diving facilities. The club covers both springboard and platform diving and competes at a local, regional and national level. For more information, visit www.sadc.org.uk where you'll find contact details.

Have a good week!

Neil
