The Weekend Starts Here!!!!!

Just thought I'd let you know that the official start to the weekend is at 4pm today, exclusively on West Herts Evening with Danny Smith! We will be kicking off today's show with our "Time Tunnel" (beware of imitations!), then we'll have Live @ 5 featuring some live tracks from...

...you'll have to wait and see!

Plus we'll be bringing you the best of today's music, alongside your all-time favourites. We will also feature some travel news, local stories, a look at events on this day in history, famous birthdays, your requests and dedications - not to mention the West Herts Evening Gig Guide with Chris Saunders at 6.30pm.

So please join us from 4pm - 7pm for a show that is brimming over with entertainment - I don't know how we're going to fit it all in!

Thursday's Show - The Entertainment Guide is Here!

Hi all

Oh yes, Thursday is here again and we herald the welcome return of our Entertainment Guide - Simon Carver. Simon will be coming in today at about 5.30pm to bring us his weekly round-up of the week's films in the cinema, DVD releases and the best of the week's TV.

Also on the show today will be our Time Tunnel from 4pm featuring some classic tunes then from 5pm - 7pm we'll bring you some of the best new music, local news, traffic reports and inane chit-chat!

By the way, I'm currently writing this whilst on a train travelling back from Plymouth. Let's hope I'm back in time!

The Gig Guide - Preview: Friday 27th February 2009

Greetings all,

Look like another good slot on this week's show. This week we're playing tracks from Tasha Fights Tigers, Maclaren Wall and also hearing from some of the Battle of The Bands hopefulls.

Also not forgetting our Big Ending track...what will it be this week?
