Interview with Neil Hannon - Listen Again
Hiya
On Thursday's show we had the delightful Neil Hannon from the Divine Comedy join us on the phone to talk about his latest project - The Duckworth Lewis Method.
This interview was very much a last minute arrangement and, as such, we did not have enough time to publicise it properly. We didn't even know it was definitely going to happen until Thursday lunchtime!

Interview with John Green of the Locomotive Club of Great Britain and Theme Tune Challenge Update
Hi everyone,
On the show this afternoon, we heard from John Green from the
St Albans branch of the Locomotive Club of Great Britain. The organisation was founded in 1949 so is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year! The club is about all aspects of locomotive railway and meets monthly on the second Thursday of each month between September and May. Meetings take place at Chiswell Green United Reformed Church Hall, Watford Road, St Albans between 7.30pm and 10.30pm. If you would like more information on this organisation, you can check out www.lcgb.org.uk or for joining information you can contact John Green on 01727 861839. The next meeting is on September 10th and features a guest speaker talking about the Isle of Wight steam railway.
Later on in the show, we had Simon Carver playing our Theme Tune Challenge. Simon presents the Film and TV Guide on Radio Verulam - Wednesdays 5.30pm - 6pm.
